Qualification

GCSE (AQA)

This course involves designing and making using a range of different styles of drawing and modelling to produce exciting solutions to problems.

Curriculum

Two hours lesson time per week.

Course Delivery

In year 10, you will learn about various graphical techniques, such as sketching, rendering, 2D and 3D drawing and computer graphics. You will then do a 'mini' project on packaging using the computer software Adobe Photoshop Elements and Macromedia Fireworks .

In year 11, you will build upon your knowledge and skills gained and devise a corporate identity for a chosen company. You will be required to design and make a range of products including business packs, memos, fliers, point of sales, packaging and promotional products.
