The course is concerned with designing and making activities using a range of fabrics.

Curriculum

Two hours lesson time per week.

Course Delivery

In Year 10 you will learn how to work with a range of fabric including joining and various decorating techniques such as dyeing, Batik, weaving and some computer aided research and design. You will use these and other skills to produce quality outcomes. This can include toy making, fashion and soft furnishings.

In Year 11 you will use your design and making skills to produce a major coursework project of your own choice which lasts for approximately 40 hours.
